Overview

The IES Annual Conference is a comprehensive educational forum for lighting professionals. The conference program includes general sessions on Daylighting, Human Vision and Lighting, Visual Quality, Sustainability and Energy Savings. Research papers will be presented in session and poster format on topics including new technology sources, lighting and health, lighting for interiors, and applications.  The Society will hold its annual meeting, present Society awards and host the prestigious Illumination Awards showcasing lighting design projects from around the world. The IES Progress Report and a tabletop exhibit will give attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest products and services available to the lighting industry. The conference is the perfect forum to learn, network and develop professionally.

 

 

 

 

 

Invitación para registrarse como conferencista representando al IES Sección México en Estados Unidos, Canadá y México. Se hace una cordial invitación a todos los miembros del IES Sección México a participar como conferencista en diversos foros de Iluminación en los Estados Unidos, Canadá y en México. Hello IES South Region District 4 officers,

 

Please mark your calendars to be present for the 2010 IES South Region Conference to be held March 21-23 in Tupelo, MS.  This will be an exciting event filled with educational opportunities for IES members based on sustainable tools and techniques!  The theme for the conference is “Sustainable Strategies that Improve Building Efficiency-Leveraging Lighting”.

 

Networking opportunities will be available with your IES members from the Region, as well as local USGBC members.  Find out important strategies for using sustainable design equipment and techniques to improve your skills and be prepared for future opportunities in this expanding part of lighting. 

 

The weekend will start on Sunday March 21 with a “Spring to Green” outdoor event in conjunction with the Local USGBC chapter, please contact myself, Brandi Sears IES Memphis Secretary or Nick Bleeker, South Regional Director with more questions. 

 

Early registration ends March 5^th.  Please don’t delay in signing up for this great event, and encourage your section members to come along.
